We’re the people behind Villa MiJo. What started as a conversation at our kitchen table turned into something much bigger. A place of our own on Bali, built around a simple idea: creating a space where people can slow down, feel at home, and experience the island in a more relaxed and authentic way.
Our story
Villa MiJo is named after us, Milena and Jorn. It reflects not just who we are, but what we value. Calmness, quality, and attention to detail. Not a crowded or overly commercial stay, but a boutique villa where everything feels considered and easy.
We don’t live on Bali full-time, but we work with a trusted local team who take care of the villa and make sure everything runs smoothly during your stay. From cleaning to support on-site, you’ll always have someone nearby when needed.

We chose Balangan for a reason. It’s one of the few places in Uluwatu where you still find that balance between nature, great food, and a laid-back atmosphere. Close to the beach and surf, but away from the busier parts of the island.
