The dry season runs from April to October and offers sunny days, lower humidity and ideal beach weather. It’s the perfect time for surfing, exploring and outdoor dining.

From November to March, Bali becomes greener and quieter. Expect occasional tropical showers, often followed by sunshine. A great time to enjoy a more relaxed side of the island.

Most visitors can enter Indonesia with a Visa on Arrival, which can be purchased upon arrival or arranged online before departure. Make sure your passport is valid for at least six months from your arrival date. Read more at the bottom of the page.

For longer day trips to places like Ubud, Tanah Lot or the northern waterfalls, hiring a private driver is often the easiest and most comfortable option.

Most restaurants, cafés and beach clubs accept card payments, but it’s always useful to carry a small amount of cash for local warungs, parking fees and markets.

Wi-Fi is available throughout the villa, but a local SIM card or eSIM makes navigating Bali even easier while you’re out exploring.
